Visitor Conditions for Fairs produced by Emigration Expo
Tickets
Admission tickets cannot be returned, paid out, replaced or extended. The barcode on the tickets may not be folded or damaged. If damaged, the barcode might not be read, in which case access cannot be granted. Copying the admission ticket is pointless. Abuse will be criminally prosecuted. An admission ticket gives one person access to the fair (unless otherwise indicated on the admission ticket), hereinafter referred to as "Fair". The venue and dates, including access times of the Fair, are included on the admission ticket.
Visitor conditions
Visitors should observe the following conditions when they visit the Fair.
1. General
Visitors enter the Fair and participate in activities on the Fair at their own risk. Parents and supervisors are responsible for the behaviour of their children. The indications of our staff should always be followed. Our staff are entitled to remove from the Fair any visitors who do not comply with the specified visitor conditions or who (threaten to) disturb the peace. In such a case, the visitor is not entitled to compensation.
2. Access
It is only possible to enter the Fair with a valid admission ticket. The visitor should keep this ticket properly during the stay at the Fair and show it to one of our staff on request. The ticket is only valid on the day of issue and becomes invalid when leaving the Fair, unless otherwise indicated on the ticket. Emigration Expo always reserves the right to refuse people access, for example when they are under the influence of alcohol or narcotics or when they (threaten to) disturb the peace.
3. Brought items
Carrying weapons or other dangerous objects (at the discretion of our staff) is prohibited. The use of narcotic drugs is not allowed. Radios and other audio equipment are not permitted. Scooters, (child) bicycles, skates and any other vehicles, except wheelchairs, are not allowed during the Fair at any time.
4. Safety
In the interests of safety of all visitors, visitors are strictly prohibited to enter technical spaces and/or areas where it is indicated that the space is only accessible to staff.
5. (Domestic) animals
(Domestic) animals are not admitted to the Fair. This is in connection with the safety of the (domestic) animals as well as visitors to the Fair. The Fair does not provide care for (domestic) animals. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome during a visit to the Fair.
6. Clothing and footwear
At the Fair, men, women and children are required to have a covered upper and lower body and to wear shoes.
7. Photography and filming
Taking photographs for private use is allowed, unless otherwise indicated at the entrance. The use of flash and/or a tripod is not allowed. The publication of video and/or audio material is prohibited unless Emigration Expo has granted prior written consent. You may be filmed or photographed as a guest. Emigration Expo always reserves the right to use this material for publication.
8. When it is busy and technical failures
The Fair is designed so that not every part can simultaneously receive a large number of guests. It is therefore possible that, when it is very busy, not every part of the Fair can be visited. Emigration Expo is not liable for any damage or disappointment. Some parts are controlled by various different techniques. A technical failure may cause delays. Emigration Expo does not give any refund on the entrance fee for delays.
9. Smoking
Smoking inside the Fair is not allowed. Smoking outside is permitted in the designated areas.
10. Catering
The Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (Uniforme Voorwaarden Horeca, UVH) are applicable to catering supplies. These are available on request.
11. Children and supervision
Children aged up to and including 18 years must be accompanied by at least one adult supervisor, unless otherwise specified by Emigration Expo.
12. Ordering tickets, making changes to reservations and discount actions
We recommend buying tickets online, for example via www.plusticket.nl
Announcements of new (discount) actions are no grounds for a refund.
13. Damage
The Fair is carefully maintained. However, the visitor may be confronted by a dangerous situation or damage. We ask visitors to report this as soon as possible to one of our staff, so that we can take action. The visitor may also unintentionally cause damage. In this case, we ask the visitor to notify the reception/information desk before the visitor leaves the Fair.
14. Liability
If the visitor suffers damage while visiting the Fair, the visitor should make this known at the reception before departure. Any compensation is excluded if this is reported at a later time. Emigration Expo accepts no liability for any damage suffered by the visitor whatsoever, unless said damage is the direct result of intent or gross negligence of Emigration Expo or one of its staff. No liability can be accepted if loss or damage occurs to articles given in custody during a visit to the Fair. The exclusion of liability does not apply insofar as Emigration Expo receives compensation from an insurance company or another third party regarding the risk that has arisen.
15. Restitution in the case of absence or late arrival
In the case of absence of persons belonging to a group and/or individual visitors, Emigration Expo does not return any money. If for whatever reason, the visitor does not use the ticket, this is on his/her own account. Once obtained, admission tickets cannot be exchanged. Neither will the admission fee be refunded in these cases. The right of withdrawal is not applicable.
16. Exhibition relocations, calamities and cancellations
Emigration Expo reserves the right to relocate or cancel the Fair regarding the time. In the event of deferring the Fair, the tickets remain valid. If (in the case of a deferred Fair) you do not have the opportunity to visit the Fair during the deferred period, then Emigration Expo will make sure that your admission fee is returned as soon as possible to your bank account or credit card, depending on your method of payment. Service and handling fees are not refundable. If the Fair is definitively cancelled or cannot be held, the amount of the admission tickets will be refunded to your bank account or credit card, depending on your method of payment. Service and handling fees are not refundable.
17. Applicable law/Competent court
Dutch law is applicable to these visitor conditions. All disputes will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Arnhem.
18. Ambiguities
All cases not provided for by these conditions, or that are deemed ambiguous, will be decided by the organisers (Emigration Expo).
19. Changes
Emigration Expo is always entitled to amend these regulations at any time. These changes will not enter into force prior to the time announced for that purpose.
