Are you interested in working with software development in an international setting? Are you experienced working with DevOps technologies and processes and able to understand process-workflow and how to rationalise and improve them? Then you might be the DevOps and Tools Engineer that DEIF is looking for.
The job:
As our new DevOps and Tools Engineer, we are looking for a person with hands on experience in DevOps environments to be part of our R&D department. You will be responsible for solving tasks such as maintaining and improving our delivery pipelines, build, maintain and improve on common tools and libraries and take part in and drive the community around our build and test infrastructure, technology and architecture. In addition, you will lead virtual DevOps initiatives across different development teams, also design and implement core components and services that support both the concrete business solutions and enables the development teams to work efficiently and effectively.
You preferably hold competences within:
• Continuous delivery and integration
• SCM (SVN, GIT)
• Continuous integration (GitLab/Jenkins)
• Docker
• Linux OS and tools
• Script automation
• Network infrastructure
• Performance analysis/investigations
• Operational stability
The person:
With a background in IT, Software Engineering or Computer Science and with great understanding of software and/or solution architecture, you are experienced in working with and leading multiple projects concurrently in a self-motivated, flexible and autonomous manner. You have a positive “can-do” attitude, balanced against strong discipline and a willingness to challenge the current state of things and ensure that we continuously improve in getting better and faster at delivering our products. In addition, preferably holding a proven record of accomplishment of working with solution architecture, and can describe and communicate high-level solutions on all levels and being able to cooperate effectively with our software teams.
Personal qualifications:
• Able to be part of a team and reach common goals
• Able to work with distributed teams
• Able to work structured and analytically with a platform mindset
• Able to breakdown tasks and plan own work
• Able to speak up and bring suggestions on the table to improve way of working
• Fluent in English and Danish
