AB Samarkand2015 was founded in 2002 as a regional development company, owned by the municipalities of Ludvika and Smedjebacken, Region Dalarna, Hitachi Energy and Ovako.

Three hours northwest of Stockholm, nestled on the banks of Lake Väsman and surrounded by forests, mountains and valleys the quaint town of Ludvika is a world-leading center for high voltage-technology. The units in Ludvika develop, manufacture and market products and systems that enable electrical power to be transmitted over both long and short distances. Tijdens een cursus Frans maak je ook een culturele reis naar mode, gastronomie, kunst, architectuur en wetenschap. Door Frans te beheersen, heb je in de oorspronkelijke taal toegang tot Franse chansons en films. Het betekent dat je kunt kijken en luisteren naar acteurs als Marion Cotillard of Isabelle Huppert en zangers als Stromae of Zaz kunt begrijpen.
