We also offer clean room production with injection molding and fully automatic assembly of disposable medical items. AMB is the parent company of mould tool manufacturer Tingverken, located in Tingsryd, about 50 km from AMB.

Our factory is located in the southeast of the province of Småland. AMB was founded in 1946 and is still a family owned company with currently 185 employees.
We are now looking for an Injection Molding Machine Setter for our injection molding department. If you are not currently working as a setter but do have the right profile, we will provide both internal and external training during your introduction period.
As an injection molding machine setter, you will be responsible and in charge of the change of molds in our molding machines with clamping forces of 25-550 tons.
The job includes injection molding, visual inspection of molded parts and material handling as well as service and maintenance of the machinery. These tasks are also needed in our clean rooms. You also monitor and control production parameters and product quality in order to achieve set goals.
After training, you should be able to carry out test runs with new production tools. Depending on the needs, you will also occasionally work as an operator in the department.
We expect you to be interested in the automation and standardization of the injection molding process. At AMB, we focus strongly on improvements by means of Lean manufacturing principles and 5S and you will be expected to participate in this work. Your interest and commitment will have a strong impact on the efficiency of the molding process and the capacity utilization and hence the profitability of the company. The position therefore demands a well-organized person.
You have at least high school skills with a specialization in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience of injection molding and/or plastic engineering training is desirable.
You have high work ethics, are curious and interested in technics.
You have a high sense of responsibility, are quality minded and you can make your own decisions when needed. It is also important that you enjoy both working in teams and independently.
Language skills: fluency in Swedish and/or English.
You work shifts: either two shift, night shift or weekend shift.
Contract duration: this position is a permanent employment and we apply a six months’ probation.
Salary: we apply an individual competitive salary based on the Swedish collective agreement. In addition to your salary you will also get paid supplementary allowances for inconvenient and extra working hours.
