AniCura Kalmarsund is a modern clinic with top medical equipment such as CT scan, MRI and advanced ultrasound. We are 155 employees who are passionate about animal healthcare and its development. We also have a 24-hour emergency service as well as specialist treatments, general practice and preventative care.
We are now looking for three Veterinary Nurses with experience or new graduated ones to join our animal hospital in Läckeby and our city clinic in Kalmar, both located about fifteen minutes’ drive from the city center, Kalmar. As a Veterinary Nurse, you are a key member of the hospital team, you ensure the safety of the pets, the clients and other associates as well as the continuity of quality veterinary care.
We’re looking for trained licensed Veterinary Nurses, with experience or new graduated ones.
You can prepare animals for surgery and perform minor surgical procedures, monitor anaesthetised animals, nurse sick animals and administrate medication. You can even take X-rays and carry out diagnostic tests, advise pet owners, take bookings, payments and complete. necessary paperwork. This position requires you to be a team player, be able to work in a collaborative environment but also to be fluent in English.
Terms of employment
Gross monthly salary ranges from 25.000 SEK - 29.000 SEK, depending on experience and specialization, plus supplementary allowance for inconvenient and extra working hours.
Permanent contract (with 6 months’ probation period).
Fulltime - 40 hours per week.
Start date is flexible. Preferably during the spring 2020.

AniCura Kalmarsund is located in the Southeast of Sweden and consists of one animal hospital, one larger city clinic and five smaller local clinics. We have over 45 000 visits a year and are one of the region’s largest referral centre. In a couple of years, we plan to move to a new built hospital, just outside the city of Kalmar.
